hold one more so we have set Monday June 27th. at 6pm You do not have
to make an appointment just come out on the 27th of June. Thanks
to the members that helped introduce members to trapshooting, it is

Eau Claire Rod & Gun Club Foundation Board has been busy planning
activities for the 2011 year. We scheduled two major fund raisers

w/Chinese Raffle, June 14 & 15th, 2011. The second activity
is the Steak Sandwich Night w/Chinese Raffle, July 19 & 20th, 2011.
Please mark your calendars.
As a club member you also are a member of the Eau Claire Rod & Gun
Club Foundation. There are several ways to support the foundation
whose primary purpose is to support youth programs, youth education and
post secondary scholarships for students pursuing a degree in forestry,
environmental studies, fish and game, etc. All donations are
tax-deductible.
16 YARD LEAGUE:
The first league night for the 16 yard league was Monday May 16th.
Three Team missed the first night of league shooting and 1 team only
shot half of there 50 rounds, So please lets get these made up so we
can get the standing on the score boards. It is very hard to
figure out who won if some of the scores are missing. The next 16
yard League is Monday June 20th. The 16 yard Schedules are in the rack
pick them up and get your team ready for the first night.

CONSTRUCTION:
The new construction of the shelter is almost complete we only have to
put one more coat of stain on the ceiling and move a table and we will
be done. We wish to thank the many volunteers that helped in many ways.
Also the two that did almost all of the building. Gary Schulenberg and
Lamoine Nelson. They sure did a great job. This is a Memorial donated
by the Laufenberg Family in honor of Amos Laufenberg. Amos as his
first job with us, was a trap boy, then a bartender. As well as a
league Trap Shooter. We wish to thank the Laufenberg Family for there
very Generous donation, We sure hope all members will enjoy this new
shelter.
DONATION JUG:
Many thanks to the members or non-members that have placed paper or
Coins into the big glass jug. We use these donations for
maintenance around the Club ( and we do have a lot of that). Please
take a look at the jug it really looks good with lot of green in jug.
BENCHE’S ALONG THE TRAP LINE:
Take time to check out the beautiful new paint job on all the
benches done for the Club by Mike Witt and Alan Spaeth. They
removed them all this spring and took them to Chippewa Falls for
the new paint job and then replaced then. They did this as a
memorial to three past members of there trap team that have past away.
We will have more on this in future as a memorial is being
planned. Big thank you Mike and
Alan.
ANNUAL CLUB ANNIVERSARY:
It is not to early to mention that the date of the Club’s 104th
Anniversary and sometimes called Corn Day is Sunday July 31,

needed.
